Fifty medium tier ARs. Spend rest on 5.56 ammo stocks, and recruiting members into my militia.

Unrelated question, anyone able to recommend any quality surplus rifles that are semi-auto accept a detachable magazine, fire a full size cartridge, and do not have a pistol grip? Bonus points for rifle and ammo being reasily available.

Mas 49? Never owned one however.

Edit:Also, any affordable semi auto surplus rifle in a full power cartridge isn't going to have much of a after market.

Ya, 7.5 isn't as common as .308.

Are you willing to compromise on either the caliber or the action?

A Ferret and a 1919.
Gun control is like trying to solve drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to own cars.

Oh, and what about the 49/56 males so you are unable to own it over a regular 49?

But it doesn't have an evil pistol grip, and it has wood! I feel so betrayed.

Also, no AW ban in either AR or KY.

Gotta brus up on the most recent Common Sense® there buddy. Removable mag + flash hider makes it an assault weapon. If I picked that thing up I'd go on a killing spree.

Not sure what to tell you about the DPMS and a sling. If it were me, I'd look into replacing the railed gas block with an M16A2/M4 "A-frame" FSB and getting a normal milspec. buttstock, bare-minimum. Then you'd have a front and rear sling swivel as well as some solid iron sights.

If it can only be for one firearm and one firearm only, I would finish my SBR and night vision set-up:

  • Sentinel white-phosphor NODs ($10,000.00)
  • Wilcox L4 G29 Mount System ($750.00)
  • Engergizer helmet light ($120.00)
  • Steiner DBAL-A3 ($1,300.00)
  • Elcan SpecterDR 1-4x ($2,200.00)
  • KAC rear BUIS ($200.00)
  • SureFire Scout (DS-SR07) ($200.00)
  • SilencerCo SAKER-K 5.56 (I think I have $600.00 left to pay on it?)
  • Geissele Super Select Fire SOCOM trigger group ($420.00)
  • Registered Drop-In Auto Sear ($20,000.00)
  • LMT Enhanced bolt and carrier ($325.00)

That's just under $37,000.00, and $20,420.00 of it is if I converted it to select-fire. I guess I would just invest the rest and live off of $63,000.00 plus whatever increases it makes in investments for my gun hobby for the next several years?
