Not quite. Some years ago me and my crew were out shooting. My buddies girlfriend was very well endowed and wearing a low cut top. She dropped hot brass down said top. If you ever need evidence that men can be stupid, we're laughing, as she's jumping around, hot brass down her top holding a Glock 17 that still had fifteen rounds loaded.

We had that happen with one of my buddies friends, she was a MP in the USAF. We were shooting a 7mm-08 Lone Eagle. She opened up the breach and it shot down here tank top. We paid for laughing later

Goddamn, as soon as I graduate and move somewhere with gun ownership (most likely the States), I'm grabbing a Savage 10FLCP-K. I really want a lefty bolt-action.

I was thinking about potentially going up to the RIA in Illinois. I'm fairly certain that at least a few of you have heard of Forgotten Weapons? I do love some of the unique things that Ian posts. One particular pistol I have been examining is the Schwarzlose Model 1898. For a pistol in the late 1800s it is actually up to par with most modern pistols from what I've seen! Of course, the chances of me getting a hold of one are slim to none, one can dream.

Here is Forgotten Weapons' video on the pistol.

Also, I've been thinking about potentially experimenting with creating firearms. Though to be honest, I have not actually looked at the requirements to do so. One such method of cycling that I have interested myself in is the idea of (basically what I call) Reverse-Recoil. I'm sure you are familiar with short-recoil. Imagine, instead of the barrel moving backwards alongside the bolt, the bolt and barrel move forward and at a certain point the bolt snaps back? I was thinking about the practicality of this design, what do you guys and gals think?

She got scoped as well, we told her if you are gonna fire it hold on tight because the son of a gun kicks like a damn mile. I still have that pistol and still shoot it, only gun i dread pulling the trigger on. Has a 3 muzzle flash and makes my arms sore after about 20 rounds since I like to shoot without using a table or shooting clamp. I am a big guy at 6ft 1.5 inches and 225 lbs, it put me on my ass first time I ever shot as I was firing from a kneeling position.

I have a scope on it. It can reach out to about a 75 100 yards. It's a blast and a dread to shot

AFAIK no. DPMS and Colt both discontinued theirs I believe.

Besides, you don't need no jammy burst cam, not when you got a young spry trigger finger to control auto fire.

I've only got hands on time with a Steyr Aug. Being a southpaw and a pretty staunch traditionalist there just not for me,and I know it's going to sound stupid but laying your head right up and over the 'innards' of the system while it's cycling thru in the only term being "violent" activity never set very well with me,,, and I'm an old pig gunner.

Not sure I'm really following you,, with a top or side fed mag well and bottom ejection port? (let gravity help you out) it sounds in my mind overly complex ,the accuracy suffers immensely I'd assume.
the Russians built that a.k. with the fast cycling rate that could( they claimed ) be pushing two projectiles down the barrel (1 at ignition stage before the prior had cleared the muzzle) it had a reciprocating Barrel and it didn't set the world on fire, just my .42 cents worth,,, but keep thinking and enjoying firearms friend.

I have to get finger printed within 5 days of filling out the application then, I have to wait for them to accept the damn application then they conduct the background check, which conveniently takes 30 days. Oh and I have to shell out almost $100 for the whole thing.

Goddamn Georgia why do you have to make everything so fucking complicated!!

I paid $45 for the class and then $167 to the state and it only took Arkansas 39 days to get everything done, but then again working as a prison guard, and assiant fire chief, plus my VA benefits I wouldn't be able to do if I had broken any laws

Meanwhile, in CA...

Telconi paid 250 for his, with a nine month wait. And I live in a de-facto shall issue county. Folks outside of the county often get theirs denied (one county has a literally 99.99% denial rate.)
