MP7 in my satchel(man purse) with 8 extra 30 round magazines, reflex sites, and what the hell a laser sight. Green laser sight. Or carry a backpack everywhere and keep some illegal ass sawed off shotgun in their. Maybe a KSG, pretty small with the bullpup design and holds 15 shells.

Why use fullsize shells? Why not go with aquila mini's? Gives you 25 shots of buck.

Does anyone have any experience with a Bushmaster ACR? I've been thinking about buying one but haven't been able to talk to anyone who can give me a good summery of how the rifle preforms and any particular pro's and cons of it.

I've never owned one but I do know a bit about it. It's pretty solid design and supposedly easy cleaning. i looked into 1 myself and it is a bitch finding info for it.
On a similar note for handguns does anyone know anything about CZ? They make great shotguns and hunting/competition rifles, but no one I've met knows anything about their handgun market.

Well i'm looking for a pretty broad amount of information before i commit to buying one as they tend to run a little over 2 grand a pop.
As far as CZ's, I have a CZ-75B that i absolutely love shooting, feels great in my hand (larger handed person myself) and it's very smooth to reload but is a tad annoying to clean if you've never done it before.

Well i'm looking for a pretty broad amount of information before i commit to buying one as they tend to run a little over 2 grand a pop.

You would be better served with a quality AR-15 (BCM, Daniel Defense, PWS, Noveske, etc.) or a SCAR-16S than an ACR. The ACR design itself is nice, but the quality control from Bushmaster has been severely lacking. They have been, in short, over-priced pieces of disappointment on many occasions. Remington is supposed to be picking up their production, but the new Freedom Group-era Remington has also been nicknamed "Rustington" due to their horrible job at finishing guns now, and their latest attempt at something unique (redoing a pistol design from a long-ass time ago that was actually successful, the R51) ended up being a complete and utter failure.

Go with what is proven for now. If you want something that isn't an AR that does AR stuff, get a SCAR or even a Tavor if you're into bullpups.

I had two firearms reach me today. My M16A1 upper came back and worked absolutely flawlessly. Very pleased. My girlfriend and I also went into a pawn shop today since we went to the city for my birthday. Clerk asked us if we needed help, saw there was an SKS nearby and just wanted to fondle it. They hand it to me. It turned out to be an Izhevsk SKS from 1953, which is a rifle I've been trying to hunt down for the past two years. My girlfriend and I split costs on it (her birthday present to me, among others), and it is marvelous. It is a refurb with an arsenal replacement stock (matching SNs, but lacking the Izhevsk stamp, so that is how I know it is a refurb stock), and the bolt and carrier have been painted black for rust prevention during storage. Bayonet was not painted, however, which is what was usually done. All serial numbers match, no cosmoline was present (previous owner cleaned it exceptionally well, also greased the bolt and carrier correctly), rifling was absolutely perfect, trigger is excellent, and the stock only shows handling marks.

An Izhevsk SKS in this condition would probably reach $750.00 to maybe $800.00 on the average day. We paid $500.00 pre-tax. I still can't get over the fact I finally had hands-on with the carbine I've been trying to find for the past two years. That part of the collection is finally done and over.

So i'll certainly look into the SCAR-16S but i'll have to look into a private sale (personal reasons, no i'm not a felon) and that will be a bit tricky for a rifle of that class. I myself am very happy with the SKS that i have (Chinese, 1954, mint condition,matching numbers)

So i'll certainly look into the SCAR-16S but i'll have to look into a private sale (personal reasons, no i'm not a felon) and that will be a bit tricky for a rifle of that class. I myself am very happy with the SKS that i have (Chinese, 1954, mint condition,matching numbers)

How much would you say a SCAR-16S usually runs for? And about how expensive is it to optimize it?

For a PWS piston-driven AR, you're looking at ~$1,400.00 for the upper, ~$200.00 to build your own lower, and then whatever you want to dump on BUIS, an optic, mags, flashlight, etc. A non-piston AR upper would probably be $800-$1,000.00 for good/best quality.

If I wouldn't get warned or banned for doing so I'd use the warn tags to call you out right now. At least you're doing it on a British inch-pat fal, that's a small measure of redemption. Any other fal I'd've come to your house and stripped down to the frame, and given you wood furniture.

Oh, and I'd've smashed the tactilol quad rail and receiver cover. To prevent relapses.
