Either one. The 10/22 is one of the great rifles of all time. I want the Stainless steel with composite stock.

or as gamers know it, simply the P-90.
Small caliber rounds, 50 round mag, and close to the body as its sub machine gun, carbine hybrid by today's standards.

Never liked a bolt-action rifle, in my opinion they are a pain the ass. I keep forgetting that I have to manually operate the mechanism for each round fired.
Cannot beat a bolt action rifle for accuracy at long distance shots. I love my .338 lapua for such long range shots.

I'm interested in another use they have. In some European countries they're allowed for sale with less-lethal cartridges for self-defence. There aren't many reviews online for some of the pistols I'm after and I'd be interested to know if someone here has experience with these weapons.
Why the fuck would you want a less lethal round for self defense?
That makes about as much sense as wiping before you poop.

Procedures to legally procure a firearm here are painfully slow and some of the requirements are absurd (I need a wall safe, for example). That's why most people go for less-lethal rounds with incapacitating agents like PAVA or CN, or a mixture of both. I'll be getting a real gun eventually, just wondering if this is a decent stop-gap measure.

Wait....
You're government thinks that using a hallow point in self defense is bad, but using basically chemically laced bullets is ok?

You can't go wrong with a 10/22. They are reliable, and also very easy to configure how you want it.
.22 lr are all but extinct out here in Oregon. I managed to pickup 5 or 6 boxes of 50 rounds in the last year (and that was sheer dumb luck). My Marlins are starving to death

Yeah, CT is a .22lr desert for the most part, too. My friends and I have, however, cultivated a few leads at the local Wal-Marts (so we get clued in to the rare occurrences of .22lr shipments coming in). My Rugers are on rations, but they aren't starving yet.
