I'm obsessed with breech-loading firearms, for some reason. I'm not that much of a gun-person, but it's one of the reasons I'm drawn to World War I and other conflicts around that time period - shortly before they were replaces with handheld automatic weapons.

So i just wanted to ask anyone here have a preference on automatic suppressive weapons and mass casualty weapons? I mean statistically, and even hands on input from those who used SAWs or Large Casualty producing weapons if that would spark interest instead.

I myself for no real logical reasoning besides weight love the M249 and would like to try a similar concept for my nation on here. Mostly like it because i can at least semi efficiently use it standing, kneeling or in the prone.

Never liked a bolt-action rifle, in my opinion they are a pain the ass. I keep forgetting that I have to manually operate the mechanism for each round fired.

Cannot beat a bolt action rifle for accuracy at long distance shots. I love my .338 lapua for such long range shots.

Why the fuck would you want a less lethal round for self defense?

That makes about as much sense as wiping before you poop.

.22 lr are all but extinct out here in Oregon. I managed to pickup 5 or 6 boxes of 50 rounds in the last year (and that was sheer dumb luck). My Marlins are starving to death

Several guns on my want (read "will have") list are bolt actions. Some are very nice.
