I know you’re a damn socialist (according to your sig, at least) but regardless of political ideology, the SKS is quite popular in the West as a sporting firearm. They have fugly tactical ones with M4-type adjustable stocks and pistol grips.
Plus, if you’re a regular on 4chan’s /k/ threads, you’ll know it’s a favorite.

AK round is louder, but it also sounds different. Once you get an ear for it you can tell an AK from an AR almost every time.

I save and buy when something comes up and I have the money. Right now my problem is, is that I am halfway to an AR10, or all the way to one ore more less expensive weapons. Decisions, decisions.

Come to think of it, I need a .22 or a few. I have almost 4,000 rounds of the stuff and nothing to shoot it with.

That's a lot of ammo. You should get something to fire it with.

Edit: I plan on getting a 1022, a revolver and a pistol eventually. Need them to train up Roan.

Great choice, 10/22 is perfect for new shooters and a hell of a lot of fun for older ones.
