I got promoted at my next to last job because of a personality test I took when I was hired. I thought they were going to fire me when they called me into the office.

Depending on the job personality many times is the most important factor

They felt I would be a good supervisor because my test showed I was not overly friendly I think. I wouldn't be prone to doing more socializing than work, and I wouldn't have any qualms telling somebody they were doing a shite job.

I just cannot for the life of me find any way he could have possibly had the chance to even get to know me enough to think I'm mean. All he does is sit in the office all day.

El Boss definitely does. I was the first person he asked to be manager, but he had to get a GM before he got other managers, then his whole scheme started. But he's a brilliant businessman.

For instance I consider myself pretty open and friendly, but many people think I am intimidating. I cannot, for the life of me, figure how the fuck am I intimidating, but there you have it.

Usually the areas with less expensive properties have cheap apartments if there's any.

Apartment rent, as well as buying/renting houses, usually depend on property values. It's not the same to rent an apartment in Highland Park than in Oak Cliff here in Dallas for instance.
