Evolution (and abiongenesis, Cosmology, etc) vs Creationism

So since we can't seem to keep it out of the Abortion thread I decided to make this thread...again. So all what's your opinion on evolution by natural selection and creationism. Considering all the scientific evidence backing evolution (and the other fields) I believe it to be the best possible explanation given the evidence. On the other hand, there is no evidence for creationism. So all, what do you think

Mmm, the smell of a fresh thread!
First, the title seems kind of slanted unfairly. It's like every type of science versus Creationism. (That's simply not true)
Evolution v. Creationism would do, I think.

Considering creationism contains the creation of the universe as well as the creation of life, I thought I should cover those same fields. Cosmology deals with the formation of the universe, abiogenesis with the formation of life, and evolution with the diversification of life.

Evolution is backed by all modern science. Creation is backed by no modern science. Besides, even if evolution were disproven, that doesn't automatically make creation right.

The theory of evolution is science.
Creation is myth.

If we could have thrown a Republican/Democrat argument and one about guns in there it would have been a perfect storm of well tread topics all contained in one thread! My opinion really doesn't matter that much. The fact of the matter is that all the evidence points towards a naturalistic universe in which life and the cosmos evolved according to the laws of physics. No gods, no miracles, no fairies at the bottom of the garden. Simple as that.

I fully support evolution and abiogenesis, because that appears to be a scientific fact. The fact that it happens to be the position of my religion also has something to do with it.

Well, the origin of life and the changes in life are really two different arguments.
We know that mutations can take place and continue through generations, and we don't have any evidence of anyone guiding species development through the hundreds of millions of years of complex life, so I tend to view evolution as the more likely explanation for the changes.
For the origin, I'm also doubtful of a creator. After all, even if WE were created by something, that creator had to first originate. Did that creator have a creator or just happen? If a creator, then what was IT'S origin?

I did once, and then I gradually accepted Creation truths. Yes, even I used to believe in evolution and an old universe (though I have always believed in God).

I think God created the universe and then evolution/time took its course. I'll take faith for $500.
