On every liberal vs. conservative thread there are the same people saying how wrong conservatives are and how bad their views are, it seems that people like to shout over the views of unexperienced members of NS. Whoever started this thread started it with the intention of hearing the opinion of people like him/her/they/it/whatever. (Oh ,look, I'm tolerant now) He/she/it/whatever was opposed to hearing opposing arguments along with the rest of the vanguard of NSG valiantly fighting off the horrible conservatives. This is elitist by definition.

I was wondering, how does the NationStates community feel about transgender persons? Personally, I am a generally accepting person as I care not as much about their labels but as them as individuals. I would like the inquire into the overall general opinion of people here however. Furthermore, how do you feel about transphobia and what do you think are the best ways of reducing it in society? Why it is so hard for so much people to accept transgender persons? Serious, I never did understand already the point that so much people cares about a body what is not his/her/they own body but a body of someone else.
