Exactly. And saying you're straight sounds like being pretty sure. Which is why it's odd to see ''straight/bi-curious'' when a person talks about their sexual orientation.

No. You're not purely bisexual. Not trying to be a "No True Scot", but 3 on the Kinsey Scale would be pure bisexuality, a 2 or 4 would be leaning more towards what some people call hetero/homo-flexible.

Curious implies you are confused and not set on something.

Probably the best way to put it. If someone just says "Bi", I assume they are equally attracted to both sexes unless they say otherwise.

I'm just using it for reference. There's the updated, more complicated version made by some guy whose name eludes me...

Either way, the point I'm trying to make is someone who says "I am bisexual" is very, very vaguely saying they like two genders. I assume they are equally open to both sexes unless they specify otherwise. Some people are very attracted to one, slightly to the other, which is "bisexual" technically, but its stretching the term to be an umbrella for lots of people.

Bi means two. A gay person who was curious about heterosexuality would be bi-curious too. Just coming at it from the other direction. I'm not curious about being straight. I'm pre-dominantly straight and more than incidentally homosexual. 80/20.
