Still, EA could force DICE to rush production on the game, like they did with Battlefield 4.

I doubt they will, EA knows they've pissed off their consumers in the past few years. What with BF4 and ME3 both being rushed out by EA it's become pretty apparent people are fed up with EA ruining games. Plus it would be corporate suicide to ruin a Star Wars game, the hordes of the Internet would flood EA.

EA doesn't think about its long term strategy, though. All they care about is making as much money as they can at the start.

Hmm, they seem to have held of on the Dragon Age: Inquisitions after getting hit hard when Dragon Age 2 came out.
Seriously, Inquisition was in development under EA (if BioWare is to be believed) for weeks before DA2 even came out. If that's accurate, this game's been in some meaningful development stage or another for somewhere around three and a half years. That is a very healthy development span, at least in theory (assuming they didn't go all Duke Nukem Forever).

Oh, it's gonna look fantastic, I have no doubt about that. But these days it's a bad idea to trust game trailers. I won't be buying it for at least six months after release.
