18 year olds do lots of stupid things. except for underage drinking and pot smoking none are "normal" on their own but breaking the law in general is common. joyriding in a car that isn't your own, drag racing on city streets, assault, tagging, shoplifting, destruction of property, and other things of this type are common enough in young men that it means little in relation to the kind of men they will be in 10 years.

Maybe that is "normal" for the kids who are living in places that are full of people with victimity complex but usually teens are doing bad stuff that harms only them. Robbery is just not on that list. Who do it goes to a deliwuency center or to a psychiaritrist.

Even if he did.

1. It is nothing like the horrible crime it is portrayed to be.

2. It in no way makes it okay to kill him unless he was attacking the officer.

3. In no way does it justify the riots that followed.

4. In no way do the riots justify the grotesque police overreaction that followed.

The security camera frames that were released sure do look a hell of a lot like him. But that's all they've released so far.

There was a low quality video, and supposedly cigars were found on the kid. Enough for a conviction, maybe. However since the kid is dead there will be no trial.

Not so much amazing, as indicative of the community relations issues faced the police that they haven't pulled in the account holder as a witness despite apparently police taping him into his house.
