For some people in high school, that's not always easy. For instance, because of swimming, school, and the long commute back to my house, I have no time to work.

Of course I will (I want to be a pharmacist, but I will get a service job by the time 18 to save money and help my mother out). I still plan to use the bus if that car breaks down, though.

I drive a car with dual controls.
Sometimes.

Extraordinarily expensive to run. About £18 an hour. I don't even get to keep the bloody thing at my house.

To be honest though, if you do what I did, and that was get a job when you turn 18, everything's much easier and you will have a better chance to be hired.

You might also find a few hot chicks where you work and get to sleep with them.

I understand. But I do plan on going to college. I'm volunteering in my community, building up an academic record, etc.

We all have our paths in life. For some, college isn't necessary for one reason or another. But for me, I want to work in a medical/research field, depending on what I'm interested in. I'm an overall academic nerd.

And I've participated in various video game competitions. Nice to meet you.

If i used Chinese servants then it would be a vehicle with 32 legs, a bed, a excellent air conditioning system, autopilot and of course on board meals as well as sexual services. You underestimate the power of Asia.

A Ford Mercury? Is that like a General Motors Chevrolet? It's just a Mercury, it is a brand, not a model of ford. I'm assuming, based off your description of it as a boat, that it is a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis. Glorious and comfortable car, if a bit slow.

I was under the impression that Mercury is a line of cars from Ford... Anyway, this one has the same engine as a Mustang, IIRC (the car's not mine but belongs to my father-in-law) and when it goes, it really goes.

Mercury used to be a separate brand of cars under the Ford group. They're essentially Fords with the name crossed out and "Mercury" written in crayon on the back.

Completely agreed. American cars are often unreliable, unsafe, and they're recalled all the damn time.

Did you forget all those Toyotas and their spontaneous acceleration?

I drive a Vauxhall Astra. Not exactly a glamour model of a vehicle but does the job. Not very fuel efficient and has a wing mirror stuck on with tape that I can't be bothered fixing. Dream car...Lamborghini Aventador or one of the Koenniggsegg family

Those were all found to be user error. The hysteria whipped up by the American media was amusing to watch, as all of the models affected where manufactured in the United States.

The problem is that the GM issues are also a bit of user error given that one puts too many keys on a keyring and it will cause ignition issues no matter what car it is.
