Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks brought up the alleged war on a conservative radio show hosted by Laura Ingraham, in response to questions about immigration reform and border security.

You're missing the point.

First off, despite 60s rhetoric, and despite having every single goddamned excuse to do so in the book, there has never been a serious, massive, and organized revolt against white people in this country. Never. I find that nearly miraculous, considering what we saw in Haiti. Every uprising here was strangled in its cradle.

Sure, we had the Black Panthers in the 60s and early 70s, but they were never able gain any sort of serious influence anywhere besides the college campuses. Their major successes involved free breakfast programs for inner city kids.

Therefore, if you did find yourself in a position where you were a mistreated minority, and decided to partake in a violent revolution, you would be performing an act that black people never did despite some goddamned good excuses to do so.

My point is this: If Latinos, or black people became the majority race in this nation, do you think that they would treat white people badly? And if so, what do you think their motivations would be?
