Giving a diagnosis of a disease and suggesting treatment does not mean that you are causing the disease in the first place. It simply means that you're making a living by pointing it out.

Sadly, many do think along those lines, or believe that doctors will make up diseases in order to continue getting paid. It's the same psychology.

Well, it is absolutely true that doctors practice defensive medicine to try to keep from getting sued if something goes wrong with a patient, they will suggest the most expensive medicines and procedures to solve a problem instead of considering the cheaper alternatives. So it might be worthwhile for some people to not go to the doctor for every little problem and try to resolve things on their own for the sake of their wallet.

See, that's exactly what they're doing when the leaders point out discrimination and institutional racism. So, no, I don't believe for a second that you want them to worry about their own community.
