The most disparity comes in the form of whites getting lesser sentences for the same exact crime and with the same background as blacks.

No prob, I'll say it again: the discrepancy in arrests was about 30/70 (and that's just going off of memory, it might very well have been larger). Also, even if you did prove it bullshit, it's irrelevant, because you still have to prove that black people are more likely to smoke marijuana (whether or not they lie more when asked is irrelevant). Likewise, you further still need to account for that huge discrepancy listed above.

You do realize that a conviction doesn't mean that you actually committed the crime, right? A conviction means that jury was convinced you committed the crime. Two different things.
