ISIS has made a threat siting that they have terror cells active in the US which will activate.

Could be troubling if they have links to the Muslim Brotherhood, which certainly has groups in the US.

Where do you watch this? Is there any stream?

No, but I expect that footage will become available in a few hours, when the journalists and civilians with camera phones have returned to their workplaces or their homes and start uploading it. Also, the islamists might well have their own footage, which they'll put on the internet accompanied by a nice little nasheed and an introduction explaining how they now rule that part of The Hague. But if you want photos, here are a few:

Image
The original protest, shortly before it was stopped by police.

Image
The islamist counter-protest, organised by IS sympathisers.
This photo was taken just before the bricks started flying.

Image
A group of islamists blocking a street.

Image
Police standing about, waiting for orders.

This is not new. People in the area have been saying that tensions have been brewing for years, and now those tensions are becoming painfully visible.
It's not the last we'll hear of the islamists in The Hague, who even have members on the city council.

Considering we already went to threat level Orange (or elevated) about an hour ago, the Department of Homeland Security is taking them seriously.

This man, along with others, is very influential. He is one of the people who called for these riots to happen, and they happened.
He's one of the ring leaders in the islamist movement, and he tells people what they can tell journalists and what they have to do against those who resist islamism.
Anyway, this is what I mean when I say it's getting bad up here.

Some could argue that the first picture of the orginal protestors show that they are organised by right-wingers due that many of them have to many national flags (even flags of Flanders).

So, do the islamist have their own party in tge city council or are they all from the Social-democratic party?

The protest was organised by those who opposed the Islamic State, and wanted to show that to the Islamic State sympathisers holed up in the Schilderswijk.
And while the people in the front were mainly nationalists, there were different types of people around, including what seemed to be South Americans, Jews and perhaps Kurds.

Scholmeria wrote:So, do the islamist have their own party in tge city council or are they all from the Social-democratic party?

Most of them vote for the Social Democrats, because the Social Democrats support immigration and welfare (and have even been putting our election posters in Arabic and Turkish).
However, there's also a special islamist party in the city council, led by a controversial (convicted for drugs trafficking, suspected pederast) convert who's friends with the imam of the Grand Mosque of Mecca.

No, they don't. That's precisely the point. They are intentionally violating our laws and undermining the authority of our police, to show that they are in charge.
That patch of land in The Hague, just one or two miles from our parliament, is lawless land now - or at least governed according to alien laws, with our police standing by and tolerating it.

The Islamic State killed 500 Yazidis, buried Women and Children alive in Mass-graves, and took women and girls as slaves. This shit is so freaking wrong. This needs to end.

Also, the US launched another round of airstrikes, this time against more convoys and militant depots.

They love to parade that fact around, but he was never really influential and he basically just left the party because Wilders wouldn't put him in an electable position for some election.
A while after that, he converted to Islam while on trial for a whole range of crimes, and immediately became the pet politician of the Saudi authorities.

As I said, it's not that bad yet, but I have no doubt that it will become as bad. There is now a man by the name of Abu Walid proclaiming victory in the Schilderswijk on Twitter and asserting that the islamists, and not the Dutch government, control that neighbourhood. He is citing verses from the Quran, and proclaiming that this was a battle between his people and the Dutch and that his people had won.

They won't win when the police challenge them. They're not enforcing sharia law, are they?

Hopefully we'll get them all.

Say, if they have links to the Muslim Brotherhood, isn't Egypt opposed to ISIS, too? I know Egypt has problems with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Ok.

Where's Russia in all of this? Out of all the countries you'd expect to come to the aid of Syria, it would be Russia. Putin needs to get his head out of his ass and realize that his ally is under attack, and has been under attack by ISIS for months now. Ukraine shouldn't be Russia's main concern, it should be Syria.

Syria is a hold-over from the bye-gone Soviet days. It is only important to Russia (and Putin) as a springboard to allow Russia to say "I'm here" whenever bullshit happens in the Middle East and to annoy the Yankees and their Israeli allies.

Ukraine on the other hand, is much closer to Russia, and is important due to economics (it is the nexus for the European-Russian energy pipeline among other things) and geopolitics (its right on the border between them and the rest of Europe).

So unfortunately, in the balance sheet, Syria is actually quite expendable to Russia compared to Ukraine; Putin would like to keep both of course, but if push comes to shove he'd rather give Assad up. Also it doesn't help that even if they wanted to, the Russian military up to now is of zero use in foreign interventions because they don't quite have the logistic capabilities and reach that the US does.
