Indeed.
Now i'm not sure wether or not North-Korean Special Forces ever train in other countries, but in North-Korea itself they won't get further then sand dunes at the beach i'm afraid...

There was a full blown democracy in the Middle East a while back, but a bunch of Western nations wanted its oil so badly they deposed the democratically elected President and installed a pet monarch who in turn oppressed the populace and pissed them off so much they went along with the theocratic nutjobs that overthrew him.
But some people apparently are stuck on the mindset of "Hurr Durr, Darkies Biologically Incapable of Democracy, Durka Durka Mohammed Jihad!"
And the Iranians on Youtube would say you're stuck in the mindset of "Hurr Durr, you say the Shah was bad when you just bought all that propaganda about him, he was actually a good man who cared for his people!"
There are some Iranians on Youtube who propose restoring the monarchy as a greater scheme to "de-Arabizing" Iran, believing the mullahs represent a centuries old problem.
Then you have the anti-Semites who latch onto some interview or what have you the last Shah made and go from there.

Oh that's right, YouTube Iranians represent the vast majority of Persians.
And of course the whole idea of restoring the monarchy plays comfortably into presumptions that Brown People Can't Democracy They Hate Freedom.

So while they aren't a major party to this, as they are geographically isolated and certainly have other priorities, in a limited sense, the DPRK is providing support in the fight against IS.

Do you Washington?
It varies from unit to unit, you have your reservists in the WPRG who know how to load artillery and fire guns but not much else. Likewise you also have people in units like the Supreme Guards who get a solid two and a half years of training in just about everything you can imagine. As for the specifics of how they're trained? No idea, I only know that SF units like the Supreme Guards get 2 or 2 and a half years of training in general spec ops stuff.Salus Maior wrote:

Russia and Best Korea have been getting close again, it's pretty standard for them to seesaw between China and Russia.

An excellent example of why allowing unrestricted immigration of people with a very different culture might not be the best idea ever :P
