I agree, but unfortunately doing that as it would be controversial is unlikely. Forward thinking, strong willed, knowledgable politicians willing to actually solve problems are in short supply. Most of our current leaders, lack the will and understanding to actually solve problems. Take for example Obama, he is clearly to weak to push any real solution, his plan is simply drop some bombs and let the next president deal with it.

Take for example the water shortages is many places including the Middle East. There is an easy solution, desalination. But despite the solution being obvious and achievable many have sat around and done nothing.

Obama doesn´t want to send troops or do more because the public is sort of "traumatized" by the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, nobody wants to see more bodybags reaching America

True, but all that is a sign of weakness. Progress is only achieved through hard work and sacrifice. Refusing to do the hard thing never fixed anything.

Hence this will likely continue for another century.

Daesh is more like some noob at a hot game (MtG, Wow, LoL, what have you) who's having incredible luck against underaged kids or apathetic hipsters who have yet to run into the hardcore pros.

I don't really think it's reasonable to make such a likeness, but I suppose there are things to do in games aswell which some would think twice about despite that it's good for your team. Spawnkilling and camping would apply in many cases. I suppose there are also situations where teamkilling is necessary against people misbehaving or acting really stupid.
Specifically in Battlefield there would be many more examples, cause there are so many different tricks you can pull on the enemies and someone will always think of one thing or another as unfair. At one server you could be an idiot for not parachuting into enemy bases to steal jets and helicopters, while on another one you might be banned for life if doing it. Even when there are official rules they could be unevenly applied etc.
Then of course there are cheaters, which to me is something completely different and a whole lot worse than any of what mentioned before. In real life there are no felonies one could commit which could be an equivilent to that.

Actually a large portion of the FSA consists out of Islamists, or it did at least, not sure now cause thousends of them joined IS.
But yeah, there are plenty of cases where the FSA installed Sharia law.

Local opposition authorities told Human Rights Watch that they have appointed judicial councils that review accusations against detainees and issue sentences. In some towns, these judicial councils relied exclusively on Sharia law. In other towns, the judicial councils relied on Sharia law for civil matters, but still relied on Syrian criminal law for criminal matters.

Drbal and his colleagues made no bones about the fact that the post-Assad justice dispensed by their court was based on Islamic sharia law. “We are ruling on the basis of sharia,” explained Seraj al-Halabi, one of the men. “We have lawyers, judges and former army officers,” said al-Halabi, himself a veterinarian, “but all of us are Islamic scholars.” Everyone has the right to have his or her case heard by the council, he added. “We are ruling in every area of the law.”

True, but its only shows that some (and before IS alot) of them are radical Islamists.

1) When was that last recall of yours? The Prime Minister of Syria is Sunni, The Minster of Defense is Sunni, The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates is Sunni, the Minister of Religious Affairs is Sunni and many more out there. I'm wondering how much you actually know about politics in Syria...
2) Yup, they do, plenty of recorded actions where FSA alligned groups burned churches, killed or abused non-Muslims/Shia Muslims. Killed POW's or killed those that did not agree with them.
3) Now, still thousends of them joined IS, which only proved that the FSA was filled with Radical Islamists.
4) You reject a secular government and call for an "Islamic State", its pretty obvious what you want in Syria.

Right, but they don't implement full Sharia Law. The FSA should certainly not win the Syrian Civil War, if only for the sake of stability, but they are most definitely not as bad as, say, Al-Nusra, or, even more certainly, ISIS.

The FSA is remarkable in that it is the only faction of the Syrian Civil War other than the Syrian Government to have secular troops.

I would never say they are as bad as IS, though they aren't far from Al-Nusra to be honest...
Sure they have secular troops, but we should not forget that the FSA is nothing but a collective of hundres of militia's with their own ideas about things. If they would manage to win against the government and IS (which would be a miracle) they would start to fight amongst themselves, and i doubt the secular ones would win that fight...

The FSA is made up of eight militias, not hundreds, and out of those I could only find evidence of three at most and two at least having a stated ideology of Islamism. Also, the largest Militia in the FSA, the Southern Front, is also the most completely secular one. Chances are, most of the Islamist FSA troops have already defected to ISIS. I doubt there's much Islamism left in them now. Though I agree that if they did win, stability would take a big hit, and Non-FSA Islamist Groups would take over in a coup or revolution.

They don't have to with countless edgy teens and disaffected Muslims volunteering to die for them.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Right. Their populations, at least for the most part, oppose ISIS, and they have strong militaries that, if combined, could crush ISIS like the bug it is. It concerns me slightly that they are not intervening beyond airstrikes. Though, to be fair to them, their fear that Iran might intervene is a valid one. Iranian involvement is already highly suspected.

Umm, says right there the Southern Front is a coalition of 58 militias...

Each of those 8 groups is a coalition of numerous militias.

Your own source completely disproves your argument.
