My hopes for an actual democratic, rising Republic of Russia died out after 2008.

Call me an eternal optimist, but I haven't lost those hopes yet. There are many Russians, especially among the youth, who can change things, who think in relatively modern, original ways and who do not conform.

It's just a question of how many Bolotnaya arrests will it take for the regime to finally go maidan.
