Uh, no. You clearly don't know what treason is, and are ignorant of the fact that waging a Civil War was completely unnecessary and unconstitutional. And you've bought into a completely asinine stereotype to belittle an entire group of people with no facts to back you up.

Nice job.

Succession and firing on the US military is pretty much the textbook definition of treason.

Did Lincoln fire on Fort Sumter?

No, but he did wage an unconstitutional war.

He also kept the Union together and abolished slavery.

He was going for the whole make everyone equal thing, but he got shot.

While some of Lincoln's actions during the war were pretty bad, the war itself was definitely justified, and, in all fairness, not even started by the North.

The South started the war! They even fired first!

He did what was necessary to end the open, armed rebellion of slave owners. He made the right call. He didn't start it, the South did, saying otherwise is blatantly false. They fired on Federal troops. What was he suppose to do, throw up his arms and say fine, you take half the country and keep owning people?

Which led to the abolition of slavery.

Whether or not the purpose of the Civil War was for states' rights or federalism, the Union victory forced the end of slavery, which is objectively a good thing. Even if slavery "naturally withered" away over time, it would have taken decades, with more generations of Americans being held captive.

Again, I am not saying Lincoln fought the war to free the slaves, but his success led to abolition nonetheless. I cannot support the CSA due to its support of slavery. This isn't about states' rights, this is about the doctrine of the people trying to secede. Therefore, I support the Union.

They overthrew the power of the federal government.

No matter what you say, it was treason.

Lincoln was hardly concerned for black rights.
