From what I read it's because some of them might be dangerous and because their owners don't bother picking up after them when they use the bathroom. It's not really a compelling argument.

Two and a half weeks ago, while I was taking a walk by the magistrate's court, a rather tough character sized me up, noticed my briefcase, and suddenly took off in my direction. Within seconds he was tailing me down the length of the alley and I was speedwalking for my life. I never knew I could walk that fast but I managed to reach the safety of an adjacent street, unscathed. This isn't the first time this sort of thing has happened to me; in fact I have been mugged or pickpocketed on at least four occasions throughout various cities around Africa. I also cannot stand the sight of the locals using the street as a toilet.

Humans should be Banned.

Nah, we just need to ban South Africa. We can wait thirty years for people to move out of the country, before Canada's nuclear arsenal is unleashed upon the country for laughs and giggles.

Dogs are generally not very dangerous. Most often, it is a matter of improper training or poor care of the animal.

I have a pitbullterrrier and let me tell you he is the sweetest thing and the biggest lapdog in the world. He's sixty pounds but will jump up and lay on your lap like he's a fucking chihuahua.

This is actually exactly the reason small dogs are more likely to attack. People don't take them seriously, so they don't train them as well.

Dachshunds can be especially aggressive little bastards, there used to be one in my neighborhood that would run from its yard snarling at me every time I walked by. But I learned at a young age if you don't run and just stare it down, it won't attack, it'll just curse at you in dogspeak and leave after a minute.

Dogs share a closer evolutionary history with us than any other animal. Dogs and humans are truly a wonderful combination, and the love between the two cannot be matched.
