With only a slightly misunderstanding you would seem extremely antisemitic just now.

I... don't really see how a small misunderstanding would get there.

Maybe we could create a giant reservation somewhere far away in the wilderness, the government would run it and feed all the dogs after they are taken away. This way we wouldn't have to kill them, they would just be raised by specialized dog trainers (who are paid very well and consent to the risks, possibly wearing necessary protective equipment like armor) on the government's dime on very specialized and enclosed reservation areas.

This way, animal activists should have no problems right?

First, we could arrange a systemic plan where we would capture all the dogs, and then sell them/donate them to owners/NGOs/groups in other countries where they are still legal. The remaining dogs could be raised on specialized reservations as outlined above.

See cause the idea of actually killing dogs makes me kind of uncomfortable too. But we do need to keep them out of the domestic front so we can be safe.

I'm sure animal activists would be delighted with the genocide and extinction of an entire species of animal.

You are also forgetting that dogs are a global species, and this "plan  " would have to require global unity. If we can't get the UN to agree to human rights, do you really expect them to agree to the eventual genocide and extinction of all dogs?

Again, I beg of you, please stop your newly found obsession with keyboard socialism.

i was suggesting a variation of the plan where they would be kept alive on specialized reservations. I think this is probably one of the more animal activist friendly variations of the plan.

I just want them banned, but there are definitely many many different ways we could go about doing this. I'm definitely open to other types of suggestions. Personally, I would prefer to minimize actual killing wherever possible and so the idea of specialized reservations kind of appeals to me (downside might be costs).

As with all plans to transform society, its hard to get even one country agree let alone a whole bunch of them. This is an unfortunate aspect of democracy, the present momentum is always strong and it takes a long long time to implement new ideas.

Birds carry salmonella. Also, they poop everywhere. Some of them peck people. They fit the OP's criteria for animals to be rounded up and deported.

Off topic: But yeah, let's ban birds and replace them with Chocobos.

Just bigger birds. Imagine the sheer amount of salmonella-filled chocobo crap everywhere.

Better yet, eradicate everyone in Britain, and then send everyone from Wisconsin there. Entirely rabies free country that can survive it even if it decides to attack.

He was a big dog too. This means that they're cute little fur balls that are kinda stupid.

My family tends to alternate between large and small dogs, the former being the preference of myself and my father, the latter my mother and sisters. Of course I can't have a dog where I live currently, so that's me out of luck.

My family's always been pretty big on dogs, which I put down to my grandparents on both sides being breeders.

Some animals in our lives may be vicious. They may be scary, and downright dangerous. Dogs have always been my best friends. I remember since I retained my first thought that I always had a dog. They bring comfort when you're sad, friendship when you're lonely, and protection when you're threatened.

So I belive that dog should not be banned. Some dogs may trained and treated improperly. Those faults lie with either the owner, trainer, or family member responsible for engdndering such behavior. We, in Balach, love dogs, as much as we love turtles. So if such a amendment were to be put before the World Assembly, we would vote against such an amendment. It is unfair to a species that shares our lives with us. The same can be said for any kind of lifeform that anyone considers a pet.

Thank you for listening.

We should also ban cars; there are too many collisions. We should also ban bridges; they tempt suicides to jump from them. We should ban medicines that people can overdose on, because people might die.

Am I missing something? Is there a vast plague of dogs hunting people down and eating them? Sure you can have a frightening experience, and in fact there are many measures taken. In most cities in this country you have to have dogs outside on a leash, you have to have them given shots, dogs are in fact killed on a regular basis if they bite a person. Even a little nip and scratch can get you sent to court to defend your dog's right to continued existence, versus say a person hitting someone with their car perhaps only resulting in a big fine, jail or loss of license at worst.

1. be supported by a majority of the population
2. Would work
