Something that many people, including staunch USA patriots, fail to understand, is that you're not supposed to wear the American flag as clothing intended to hide your filthy body from public view. It's sacrilegous, according to the Founding Fathers. Not that it makes baby Jesus cry, since them Founding Fathers actually were not overly devout (or devout at all, come to think of it), but to wear the flag as a rag is not how it should be done.

Eh, I would never tattoo a flag or wear a flag in clothing but this is not uncommon in the US. I've seen boxers and bathing suits of the US flag as well as underwear. People tattoo the flag on themselves quite often. I think I'd rather they tattooed the US flag rather than the Confederate one (which I've seen in tattoos as well around here).
