Doesn't matter. Castle Doctrine states that as long as they're on his property and he feels they'll harm him in the future he is exempt from prosecution.

You underestimate the power of wishful thinking.
In a similar way to those who think that shooting someone running away is in any way justifiable self-defence.
Let's not make this thug bitch in to a victim .
In case people forgot she broke in to a 80 year old man's house and withl the other thug she was with gave him a beating . So the bitch got her thug ass killed .to that I say DSAF .

Doesn't matter. You can't shoot a fleeing assailant, regardless if they're on your property. Funny thing, the police can't either.

The framework for the US judicial system was created by angry men with guns. They set up the most influential part of it, the Constitution.
It seems perfectly sensible to me that an angry man with a gun today would be considered by the same standards, and the derivatives, that they laid out.

Andrea Miller is dead. Ton Greer is not. Seems to me like he came out of the altercation better off.
If the thug bitch did not break in to Mr. Greer's house.
The thug bitch would not got her thug ass killed in the first plac.

Does Castle Doctrine apply in California?
Castle Doctrine does exist in Cali, I believe the code is 198.5 (I know it's in the 190's)..... though this incident falls just outside of it, technically, from my reading of it earlier. Not that it makes much difference. I doubt the charges will actually be filed come Monday, and even if they are I'm absolutely certain that the result would just be a mistrial, and after Polling the DA would chose just not to refile.

I'm sorry, but you're ex-military. So am I.
Can you really condone in any way the shooting of someone running away and begging for their life?
