Your favourite Nigerian city with under 120,000 people

Postby Other Thafoo » Fri Jul 25, 2014 12:44 pm

I say, I love Nigerian towns (I'm a Nigerian-Settlementophile), so I decided to create a thread about Nigerian cities with under 220,000 people. Which one is your favourite? I'd say Jimeta is mine, because their location on the Benue River makes it an ideal domestic trading port. What about you?

Koko Town, because it's located on the Benin River (Benin > Benue) and in Delta State, and because it has a funny name.
Your nation is like a son. What it does right is your merit, as well as what it does wrong is your fault. When you praise it, be lucid and avoid exaggeration. Praising it too much can make it indolent. On the other hand, when you criticize it, be harsh, but do not ridicule it. Do your best to improve it, not through derision or disdain, but through good examples and dedication.

I decided to go with the last one over the one right above it; it was a hard choice: both were very fun to say.
