Brown, Cameron, Clegg, Other?

Postby Krytenia » Tue Dec 29, 2009 1:40 pm

A question for all the Brit players out there. With the next General Election (at most) six months away, which constituency are you in, and how are you thinking of voting? What issues matter to you?

Not sure what constituencey I'll be in (what with my university education running to an end), but I'll probably be voting Labour myself.

I cannot stand the Tories, and the LibDems (bar some personal issues with a local councillor which I won't go into here) are ok but virtual non-entities. Everyone else would probably just be putting the vote in to that oily Tory wanker's pockets.
The above post may or may not be serious.

Solihull is my constituency, and while UKIP is my favourite party, their chances of not coming last are close to nil, so I'll vote Conservative, even though Dave is probably my least favourite Tory leader of all time.

None of the above, seeing as I'm registered in none of their respective constituencies.

The constituency in which I live has been very safely Tory even during the heyday of New Labour.

I won't be voting. The Tories will win by many thousands. What's the point? At least if we had Proportional Representation my vote might actually have a faint chance of helping a candidate from a party I like get in.

Ah, the wonders of living in a marginal.

I'm in Milton Keynes North (or at least will be come 2010, thanks to boundary changes), and am currently torn between Tories and a protest vote for UKIP. Will have to see what Cameron and the boys come up with prior to the election.

1. I'm too young to vote.

2. I couldn't give a f*ck, as this nation's in the deepest debt crisis it's had so far.

tbh, all politicans are the same. They all seem to corrupt their power one way or the other, if it's either accidental or right under our noses.

All I can do is no longer hate Brown, but feel sorry for him. He has done some stupid things, yes, but now it seems every single mistake he makes, people get on his case to make him look even more worse then he already is.

Cameron, well, I wouldn't mind if he won; but he wouldn't make much diffrence straight away. And by the time he would have done something, people would have lost intrest.

Clegg, meh.

Cameron will win, my constituency will vote Labour and I'll waste my vote on the Lib Dem candidate.

For me, the only question is by how many seats will the Torys lead.

*Sighs*

Britain won't be able to last through another term under labour, even though i'm an advocate of the Welfare state and so on I cannot vote Labour, it will be criminal.

A vote for the Liberal Democrats is a wasted vote.

The BNP is the only party addressing the issues which need to be addressed bu they're doing it wrong AND for the wrong reasons.

I'm going to have to vote Conservative; Britain needs to reign back it's bloated Labour induced public services, streamline then, sort out the economy, and reverse the politically correct nonsensical laws that have come to plague the nation.

But by god it's going to be a tough few years ahead of us.
