Yes, I believe that socialism and nationalism can coexist. Some people have already shown the examples here, and I agree with most of them (Germany under Hitler, USSR under Stalin, and Venezuela under Hugo Chavez, among others).

It depends what sort of socialism you're talking about. I don't think Marxism and nationalism can co-exist.

Marxism and nationalism can't coexist - Marxism is opposed to nationalism. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels rejected it, and Marx wrote in The Communist Manifesto, "The working men have no country."
