Uh, I dunno. I've always been interested in things that affect my life, including politics. I'm not as political nowadays though, not enough time to concern myself with it too much.

About the time of the 2010 midterm elections. I wondered what the "Tea Party" that the news were talking about so much was.

I started to become interesting in politics around thirteen years old, although like most people at that age, I didn't really know much about the subject. I would I say become more clued up about the subject at fourteen.

I support the Democrats. The debt is not as urgent of the problem as the Tea Party makes it out to be and there's no reason to be afraid of the ghost of "big government".

For me it was when I was 13-14. That was when I realized how sick and dying the USA was, and it was this that started me down the road of politics.
I am nothing, so I must be everything.

In the time before time, in the fires of Mount Doom, I was created to serve the dark powers of Jew-Banderist Cultural Marxist Gayist Enabler Social Democracy. My dark lords instructed me in the ways of the internets, releasing me to wreak havoc over all that is good and true in this world, by aiming to advance the dark march of human rights across the world.

That said, I think it happened when I was 14. I don't quite remember what triggered it, but there you are.

I always kinda had an idea of how the government should be ran, though they were quite immature thoughts. I guess around eleven years of age is when my political ideals got more, serious.

After years of experiencing racism from white British people due my religion and skin colour, so to some extent, I could say I've always been political. But what triggered it, if I'm not mistaken, were the 7 July bombings and the subsequent persecution the Muslim community in Britain faced — and is still facing.

Also, my father has always been a wise man who's aware of virtually all the issues the world faces. He has always estimulated me to think for myself and seek the answers for my questions.

"Those who believe fight in the Cause of God, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of idolatry, so fight against the allies of Satan; indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak."

Every Muslim should watch this video!

Your disagreements really mean nothing when the average eight year old is not even on course as to what politics /means/.

And that's good, because eight year olds are supposed to have a good childhood, not a traumatising one.

Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.
We have nothing to lose but the world. We have our souls to gain.

In 2004 when I fiercely fought for John Kerry and denounced George Bush. I was seven years old, and I supported Kerry because my parents did (and I thought he seemed like a cooler guy).

Same kind of thing happened in 2008, fighting with friends about how Barrack Obama would be a better president. I had no idea why he would be better, but that didn't change my mind.

I didn't really understand politics until I was in High School.

Started in 2001 I guess, with 9/11 and Afghanistan. Would have been 7 at the time.
My dad was constantly watching news at the time, listened in, started asking him questions about what they were talking about.
Got a keener interest in 2004, it was the first election I ever gave a damn about. I remember telling my dad I thought Kerry would make a better president and he was less then pleased.
Odd that most of my early political knowledge came from him and we ended up on separate sides of the aisle.
