That's not how it works. I've been holed up in my humble abode all day to avoid the sweltering heat, but I'm afraid I'll have to go out for groceries sooner or later. Better buckle up, put on as few clothes as is socially acceptable, step outside and embrace summer.

I've basically been doing the same thing.

Annoyingly, I can't open the back door without some random cat trying to get in. It's beginning to irritate me that the little bastard can't get the simple concept that it is not fucking welcome.

Opt for swimming togs and sandals. Scar a few kiddies.

I'm already wearing sandals, that should be punishment enough for those daring to look at my feet.

Nah, just a joke. I used to be a bit sensitive about my feet, but they're not so bad. Never had a pedicure, though.

Don't kick the kitty! The little predator is probably just looking for some shade. Better give him a refreshing splash of water, that should keep him cool for a while.

To be honest, I suspect it's got to the stage that the animal wants to come in because its not being allowed in.

Obviously, I must be jealously guarding such wonderful things if I keep preventing it from having a look around.

Also, it's been trying this for the last three weeks.

I don't really want to do anything to it, as it isn't my cat. I'm a bit nervous of even throwing water at it, in case someone spots me and has a go.

Cats can be peculiar like that. If you haven't lived at your current place for long, it might actually be that cat's previous house. But that's probably not it. Does the animal seem to be a stray?

As long as said cutting is done by a professional veterinarian. Otherwise it is just a troubling act of animal cruelty.
