DO NOT POST AT ALL
I don't want any arguments or debates starting over this. Just want to see via poll the sheer difference between the three on nationstates.
Breakdown:
Religious: you believe in a God or multiple Gods, you have a sort of religious belief
Non Religious: You do no believe in God, you have no religion
It's Complicated: you believe in a higher power not necessarily God, you aren't sure how you feel about religion or God, you hit a low point in your life and were previously religious but are starting to lose faith, you hit. High point in your life but are still unsure about religion.

Where would a thread like this go? Also it's just a simple voting option. You vote or you don't it's up to you. I just said no posting to avoid confrontation between people that will probably end badly. So if I change it to you can post just avoid flaming, cursing etc etc you think you guys could handle that?

There is no thread ownership in General. Meaning: you can't prohibit people from posting.

That's actually one of the primary reasons I quit being Lutheran.

Agnostic is when you believe in a higher power right? Not necessarily a religion but you aren't necessarily non religious since you still believe in something. I would put its complicated. And yes you have the option to change your answer.

Really? You cared that much about the depicted gender of the God? I mean, they have to use some type of pronoun to describe God, and "it" just sounds wrong.

Treating and bluntly saying is two different things. We, as Catholics, believe God is God. We don't know if he is black, white, asian, male, female or both. But yes we do normally make it out to be a male. Doesn't mean that if you asked if God is male or female we would give you a M or F answer. Now my problem with other religious people is how they portray Jesus as white. He was born and lived in the middle east. I would expect him to look at least a hint darker. Random fact..I once saw a fat jesus painting in a church in Italy.

From Google: "a person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena; a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God."
Someone who believes in a higher power is a theist or a deist, to my understanding.
