Meanwhile, Ukraine doesn't have anything capable near by where it was supposedly shot down, its very far inside seperatist territory.

And the Ukrainian forces do have Buks but that could only mean the separatist rebels stole a Buk from the Ukrainians in the rebellion.

Who said anything about the Russian Federation doing it? The general consensus is that Russian militants did it. Russian Militants=/=Russian Federation.

Also, Ukrainian separatists have no reason to pull something like this either.

As I said, they don't have the radar to determine if its civilian or not, probably thought it was a Ukrainian transport jet and shot it down.

Russia wants to annex the region, but it seems like Putin has come to the realization that it's not going to happen. Russian support for the separatists seems to be waning, and Putin seems to have been glad for the (previously) waning media interest in Ukraine. Things WERE cooling off.

Exactly. It makes logical sense that there would be higher turnout in the country where the incident actually happened. At this stage there is no evidence that Russia is connected to this tragedy in anyway.
