So tell me, how many people predicted that this would happen before it happened? Since apparently it was SO FUCKING OBVIOUS.

The separatists were known to have such a weapon by the Ukrainian government. It was Ukraine's fault for not extending the no-fly zone to such altitudes.

Technically they can't, commercial airliners set their own routes. Malaysia Airlines made the decision to fly over. Both Ukraine and Civil Aviation Authority had warned planes not to fly over. They can't control the fact that Malaysia Airlines ignore the warning. The responsibility for this whole conflict lies squarely with Russia. Don't always agree with US-NATO foreign policy, but they have it spot-on right this one.
Ukraine gave fair warning and Malaysia Airlines chose to ignore it, therefore, they bear some responsibility for this, Ukraine can't be blamed, as technically only UN has authority to impose no-fly zones.

Temper, temper, is Imperialist Russia getting nervous? Does Putin need his bottle? If you care for sources you have them all over the Internet. On the other hand I don't see any proof of the Russian claims that somebody else shot down the airplane. Yeah, sure we can look up some pro-Russian web sites to find supposed "claims" of this but then again it's all in the source of the story, and I can't believe anything that the Russian media says, because all they seem to know is how to lie and make up conspiracy theories... Remember how they tried so hard to convince the rest of the world how there were no Russian troops on Ukrainian territory only to have their president say a few days later how those "no brand" troops were Russian soldiers all along.
