You have shown yourself to be as barbaric and ruthless as your most hostile critics have claimed. You have shown yourself to have no respect for life, liberty or any civilised value. You have shown yourself to be unworthy of your office, to be unworthy of the trust of civilised men and women. You may succeed in silencing one man but the howl of protest from around the world will reverberate, Mr Putin, in your ears for the rest of your life. May God forgive you for what you have done, not only to me but to beloved Russia and its people"

Don't forget the typical "NO U" response from Russia.
Anyway, this is what Alexander Litvinenko had to say about Putin:You have shown yourself to be as barbaric and ruthless as your most hostile critics have claimed. It is more true now than it ever was. What a disgusting human being.

In the meantime, it is my desire that we once again refer to Russia as the Soviet Union, at least as long as Putin and not a human is in control, because that is essentially who they are.

Russians are still human beings, and most of them desire a real democracy. Unfortunately they were born in eras dominated by socialism and are having a hard time providing for themselves.

Terrorist attack? you must be joking right?
There's some precedent for calling unrecognized separatists (or paramilitary forces seemingly sponsored by a neighboring state without the official imprimatur of war, as the case may be) "terrorists," but there's really no evidence that the airliner was targeted in order to strike fear into the hearts of the Dutch.
Considering all the evidence, it looks to like either Russian or pro-Russian forces, in or near eastern Ukraine, shot it down because they thought it was a Ukrainian military plane. Tragedy, but not terrorism.
