There are only 43 Million people living in Central America.
16.4% of people in Central America are in extreme poverty.
Simple arithmatic would tell me that's about 7.052 million people.
Assuming even three fourths of those people want to come to America, you would have an influx of about 5.289 million people, or a little over the amount of people living in Colorado, spread out across the entire southern US and beyond.
I think we can take those people in without becoming Dubai.
