Please be respectful. As everyone knows, discussing religion can get pretty ugly. While debate is encouraged, everyone who posts needs to act somewhat civilized.

Have fun and may God bless you all!

Yes, but while all Catholics are Christians... not all Christians are Catholics.

Believe me, sexual abuse runs MUCH more rampant in other religions than in Catholicism. I would know since I'm a Catholic Youth Minister who has undergone extensive Safe Environment Training. You're much more likely to be abused by a Jewish rabbi than a Catholic priest. You've always had been and always will be. If you are concerned about the recent public outcries regarding the actions a of a select couple of priests around the country (minority doesn't begin to give justice to just how few priests are actually found guilty of such crimes), don't be.

Besides the Bahai, Samaritans, Yazidi, Druze, Mandeans, Babist faith, and the Rastafarian religions are in need of representation.

Not irrelevant since there are plenty of topics Catholics can exclusively discuss, such as the Pope, the Saints, the Eucharist, Catholic Church history, etc.
It'll be a shame if they did, though, since they wouldn't understand the significant differences Protestant Christians have with Catholic Christians over this sort of stuff.

Rastas prefer to call it the Rastafari Movement, as opposed to a religion or Rastafarianism. -isms are a Babylon thing.

Not ignoring it whatsoever, the media just blows it way out of proportion. I would venture to say that it's borderline slander.
The Vatican actually does a tremendous job on handling sexual abuse cases, but you would never even know by tuning in to Western media.

So then how is it that you know they do such a good job?
