Wouldn't have made it anyways, I needed one more 5 on AP to get in.

I'm not sure how better schools in the U.S. are though.

For instance, UT Dallas (the school I graduated) has a guaranteed tuition (locked tuition for 4 years, and over 15 hours is free) and the most it goes in tuition per semester is 31,000 USD per year taking max load by not being a resident plus 14,000 USD for her necessities besides tuition, we're looking at around 45,000 USD in total per year. Community college total (if she stays at home with her parents and goes to community college and then uni) can come at around, tops, 4,000 per year.

If the school is international but it has ties with the U.S and is applicable for Federal Aid funds (which I do not see how this would make any damn sense, but assuming it does) then no, it wouldn't.

If on the other hand said uni is not part or even recognized by the U.S. then no, Federal Aid funds are not applicable for those unis.

Being a minority, lucky you, you got the gov to help out a bit. All I was eligible was the unsubsidised Stafford. Dad bitched and complained how I didn't get anything else, how he joined ROTC to pay for school, etc.

And then after I flunked out, he told me if I intended to fail more classes, I'd have to pay. I didn't intend to fail, it just happened. I think he meant if have to pay for it until I could show him I could succeed.
Which I can't pay for it. I'm not an independent student until age 24.

I am not sure what being a minority has to do with me getting Federal Aid funds as I did not apply for the Hispanic Scholarship fund or anything; it all was based on Pell Grants and Subsidized Stafford.
