Also, to the man who is pointing fingers and calling me childish, I'm so glad you realize that there I'm childish. Because what would the world be if there weren't childish people to childishly accuse someone of being childish? Hmm? WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT THAT?! :p

I never said you were being childish. You said it, I just agreed with you, don't put words in my mouth(Or post, so to speak).

I said it, you agreed with me. Compliments where compliments are due.

Hey, you judge if you want. Silently or otherwise. You're just playing into a system that must always have winners and loosers, those on the top and at the bottom. It just seems hypocritical of people to say "god I hate how unequal society is, it's so judgey" and then turn around and say to their friends "god Christie's hair is so fugly"

1. I'm used to being a looser.
2. I don't associate with society.
3. Not only is Christie's hair ugly, so is she.

It doesn't really change what I think about people.

Ah, but not only by agreeing were you admitting to sharing my sentiment, but you also stated that you were glad "I admitted it" which also suggests that you were harboring the sentiment long before I vocalized it in jest. Thus, I do not believe I put words into your mouth just simply that I seconded a previously held idea, or voiced one in the making before it came to fruition.

I have to say, I feel that the high school stereotypes purported by the media have legitimized themselves. at a time, they were not true, but with things like disney channel, the media has influenced youth enough to make them true.
Then it's a lie. Everything Fox News says is a lie.
Even true things once said on Fox News become lies.

your welcome. I have strayed far enough from disney's influence to develop such a theory like this.

I hate to admit it, but this is true in some cases. Do what you must to get in where you can. Then when your rooted in, you can be yourself, because you're so deep they can't get rid of you without uprooting the whole damn tree.

Well, Disney's really tame if you compare it to things like Mean Girls or other high school movies, but what you said is true.

High school aged youth is not the target audience of Disney.

no, the targets are elementary and middle school, and during that time, the disney shows, most of which are about high schoolers, influence them enough for them to influence high school into become the media-version of it. as a result, the media-purported view of high school and the actual thing have become synonymous.

Bullies are best dealt with by showing them you are not an easy target. Knocking them out in front of everyone is a good way to do so. Nowadays though, that gets you in trouble...

My advice: Plan ahead. Focus on what you want to do after high school, be it employment or higher education, and take courses that will help you in that particular vein. Yes, Minority womens studies or liberal arts may seem fun, but they are useless in the real world. Take only courses with real value toward your goal. Always think ahead.
