I don't know if it will work on trans women, but I do know that cis women have undergone the procedure and at least one has become pregnant - The pregnancy wasn't viable, but that does mean there is hope. It won't. Our genes just aren't compatable. The reason why we have the y is pretty much say don't make a vagina. Meaning it'd just not work. But in reverse, it would. FTMs are lucky that testosterone is all consuming; it changes everything, short of growing a penis, to that of a man (except chromosomes) but in comparision, estrogen is more fragile and easily imbalanced.
