Hell, they just FINALLY released the records, not his diary, the official records for the Taisho Emperor and that was almost 100 years ago.

No to both. Certain sections of Meiji's personal papers are available, but not the whole. As for Showa... almost nothing personal is available. It's... like a hole. What we know is from the private views of the people around him, so we can guess at the shape of the hole, but we don't really know what's in it.
