Still, I would like to attend to a catholic service one day; but I don't really know how my parents would react if I asked them...
I mean, my dad is an fierce Atheist (even he started to drift toward Agnostism lately) but he when I started to interest in Christianty, he made the effort to read the Bible, which meaned a lot for me, still, I don't think he would let me go to it; and well, my mom is Catholic and as non-practicing as me but I guess she wouldn't mind.

Still, I don't really know how they would react to it...
I mean, last summer, during holiday, we visited a Britain Cathedral and burned a candle, but well it was kinda akward, I don't know why, but talking of theology/religion is almost like talking of sex for some reason I don't understand...

We have a articular definition of alive and I fulfill that definition.

How can you be sure that this physical evidence is really an evidence?
How can you be sure that touching or seeing a think forcefully make it be real?
How can you be sure that the definition you're talking about isn't erroneous?

For the first two, you seem to be asking how can we trust our senses, and the general answer is we can't, we can't necessarily even trust our brain (hallucinations are a thing). Thus the best way to verify something is to see if other people are also seeing feeling etc the same things we are, as well as using things that do not rely on our sense (like computers or other devices). This is why things being verifiable and repeatable is important, because if they are not then there is no reason to believe what someone saw etc actually happened. It is when things are verified over and over again with no other explanation that equally models what has been experience that we can begin to be more certain. 100% certainty is not possible, in science we instead try for probability.

The third thing makes no sense. If I am given an erroneous definition then once again the word consciousness lacks a useful definition and once again there is no reason to believe it exists. But then words are used to explain concepts (whether those are physical things like a shoe, or more mental images like a god). Otherwise I cannot understand what you are asking about.

And after the United States entered the Second World War, few American industrialists were as dedicated to the American war effort as Henry Ford; his purpose-built Willow Run factory was the largest production line in the world, building fully half of the B-24 Liberator bombers produced by the United States during the war.

Nonetheless, Ford had previously been one of the most virulent anti-Semites in North America, whom many prominent Nazis later cited as an inspiration thanks to Ford's active promotion of anti-Semitism in the 1920s. As late as 1940 he was still doing business with the Nazis, even using French slave labour in the German branch of Ford.

So attacking Nazism after December 1941 is no sign that someone wasn't an anti-Semite before Pearl Harbor.

That said, there's no evidence that Walt Disney was any more anti-Semitic than anyone else of his class and background. Some anti-Semitic imagery crept into 1930s Disney cartoons (like the original version of the Three Little Pigs), and Disney made some questionable judgement calls (like meeting Leni Riefenstahl shortly after Kristellnacht) but the Disney company employed Jews, many in senior positions, none of whom - when directly asked in the years after Disney's death - thought that he was openly anti-Semitic. He also donated regularly to Jewish charities. Like many people in his social circle he seems to have absorbed ideas and concepts that we would consider anti-Semitic today; and he likely would have been shocked to discover that ideas and concepts that were both common and socially acceptable in his time were wholly unacceptable in 2015.

That's not an attempt to offer a blanket excuse for historic anti-Semitism in the mid-20th century; but there's clearly a distinction between Henry Ford's active anti-Semitism, and Walt Disney's ambient background anti-Semitism.

Put bluntly, a hypothetical Heinrich Forder would have been enthusiastically helping to build Auschwitz, and arranging the logistics to ship the Jews to the camps; a hypothetical Walther Von Isner would merely have been claiming post-war that he didn't give much thought to what happened to all of his nice Jewish friends, and hadn't realised the extent of the Holocaust.

Can we get back on topic, please?

This is categorically not a thread for discussing YouTube game reviews.

And can I politely suggest TET if you want to participate in a chat thread?

In the future I shall plan to research the lives of Syriac Christians as I did with the Druze.

It'll be interesting to examine the impact on their statistical fringe beliefs on social relations.

As Arch has repeatedly and politely requested:

The topic. Kindly get back to it, and refrain from turning this into a random chat thread. If players consistently abuse the leeway given to these sorts of dedicated discussion threads (all trolls and one-hit-wonders aside, of course) it is quite likely we would be forced to re-examine our policy on them, and at worse, end up having to either move them to F7, or eliminate them entirely.

This is not the end result any of us would like. Please do not consistently drive topics off the rails by participating in the threadjacks. Either ignore, add your own polite admonishment and requests to keep to topic, and/or report persistent attempts. Thank you.
