Oh. Well that's a truly heroic deed we have there. Why are these children hungry in the first place? The blockade, I guess. Or maybe it's that arabs can't manage an economy for themselves ( this is a very common point of view in Israel ).
That also does little to excuse the carnage of civilians Israel is causing.

Do you happen to have an example of any Palestinians making charitable gestures to Israeli orphans?

EDIT: I ask sincerely.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Then they will fail. Counter Insurgency, as I said, is about gaining the favor of the population. Maintaining the blockade and bombarding people will only make them angrier. As for those who are antisemites, well, killing their women and children will indeed do VERY LITTLE to change their opinions on jews.
So, Israel is not doing the right thing to stop Hamas, and will not stop rocket firing for very long. A lot of its soldiers will die, too.

It doesn't matter how inaccurate they're are. It still causes intense psychological stress for the Israeli people. It can't be ignored.

Just tell the palestinians: if you stop firing rockets, the blockade is off. And the problem is solved. Hamas would be forced to negociate. Bombarding Gaza, to the contrary, insures Israel that it will continue to have rockets thrown on its territory.

Also, if you have intense psychological stress on one side, and death and destruction on the other... It is rather obvious how the world will react. When it wakes up anyway.

I don't know? Maybe sometimes kids can escape from their parents for ten minutes. Or maybe did the parents believe that they were safer on a beach ( since the IDF says that if you don't stay in urban areas, you won't be hurt ). Problem: the IDF talks an insane amount of bullshit.

They're not trying to win the hearts and minds of the Palestinian people. They're trying to stop rocket attacks.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_rocket_attacks_on_Israel
Since 2001, Palestinian militants have launched thousands of rocket and mortar attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip as part of the continuing Arab–Israeli conflict. As of July 2014 the attacks have killed 28 people,[1] mostly civilians, and injured thousands, but their main effect is their creation of widespread psychological trauma and disruption of daily life among the Israeli populace.[2] Medical studies in Sderot, the Israeli city closest to the Gaza Strip, have documented a post-traumatic stress disorder incidence among young children of almost 50%, as well as high rates of depression and miscarriage.[3][4][5] A public opinion poll conducted in March 2013 found that most Palestinians do not support firing rockets at Israel from the Gaza Strip.[6]

It doesn't matter how inaccurate they're are. It still causes intense psychological stress for the Israeli people. It can't be ignored.

those rocket attacks are the result of psychological stressed caused by israel, by denying palestinians rights and continued hostility towards the people of Gaza and West Bank
