Oh. Well that's a truly heroic deed we have there. Why are these children hungry in the first place? The blockade, I guess. Or maybe it's that arabs can't manage an economy for themselves ( this is a very common point of view in Israel ).

They're not trying to win the hearts and minds of the Palestinian people. They're trying to stop rocket attacks.

Then they will fail. Counter Insurgency, as I said, is about gaining the favor of the population. Maintaining the blockade and bombarding people will only make them angrier. As for those who are antisemites, well, killing their women and children will indeed do VERY LITTLE to change their opinions on jews.
So, Israel is not doing the right thing to stop Hamas, and will not stop rocket firing for very long. A lot of its soldiers will die, too.

Counter insurgency is about winning hearts and minds, good sir. I don't think you understand that. Blowing up hospital and schools for a bunch of inaccurate rockets will NOT damage Hamas. It will only grow much more popular.






I don't know? Maybe sometimes kids can escape from their parents for ten minutes. Or maybe did the parents believe that they were safer on a beach ( since the IDF says that if you don't stay in urban areas, you won't be hurt ). Problem: the IDF talks an insane amount of bullshit.
