It's not that bad. But there are a number of streets closed due to flooding. Meaning Mum is going to have an interesting time getting home as traffic will largely be limited to one arterial road instead of two.

And the last time that happened, people were stuck for over three hours.

Oh yea, she'll also have an interesting time with her car

I'm glad is not a bad flood though.

Believe me, it's been a lot worse. In 2011, we had 26 inches of rain fall in 48 hours and in 2012, we had a large thunderstorm which dumped 4 inches of rain in one hour. Five inches in six hours in some places is a little on the heavy side but not unusual.
