Hopefully you and your family have been riding out the storm and haven't really experienced anything unpleasant? Some of the stories I hear of Copts being persecuted there are brutal.

All my school had was Spanish and I struggled through a semester before dropping the second half second semester of my sophmore year. I learned more from the Mexican guy that used to buy beer and smokes for me.

Not very many of us out there; i've met a few Copts in America online, but not many from Egypt online.

My family has more than some Copts; because my father is a priest. Before I was born my uncle was accused of "hiding a Muslim man who had converted to Christianity" and was placed in prison, my father himself has had things thrown at him; and our church has been damaged many times.
