Yep, the patches do flake so it looks like dandruff.

I use medicated shampoos to remediate it. Doesn't mean it goes away.

Remediate, in context, means that it doesn't flake as much. So instead of, say a shitton of fucking flakes appearing I only get like very sparse because I don't let it build up.

It's also another reason why I trim my body - my chest had/has the stupid thing too. Or so I thought, may have been a breakout from so much scratching.

I try to maintain my skin as healthy as possible, which is why my flareups have diminished.

But I do get random flareups every couple of days a month.

I know, and I mean I won't say it DOESN'T go away at all. It does, but only short-lived on my scalp because I don't take much care of it.

On the rest of my body?! I now have diminished my flareups to a significant degree so that I look good on pictures and while interviewing people. As long as I don't touch my head I am okay.
