Spaghetti Dudek did the same many years ago but depending on the ref you may get some leniency. Nice underdog story.

I noticed in the World Cup that there seems to be a more forgiving view on leaving your line early on penalties, too.

This is only for association football right? We can't speak about Gaelic football?

TBH, China says that if it's a ball and you kick it it's football, so I don't know if I will follow China or the people who created the sport.

I was referring more to "(soccer)" in the title.

If this is the case I'd rather the title be changed to "Ultimate Association Football Thread" - just the "football (soccer)" bit seems that variants and such would be okay, like futsal (although I suppose Gaelic Football is a different matter, perhaps)

Delph certainly deserves it over Wilshere. But if Lallana and Barkley weren't injured I doubt he'd be there.

Arsenal get Borussia Dortmund in the CL, great.
This is the IC re-incarnation of Cyborg Holland. Add 2971 posts and three RWC final losses.

Ikr?

Poor Ajax getting a tough draw again.

Man City, Munich, Roma, CSKA is the toughest group surely though.

On the whole, not the worst draw for Arsenal, but Galatasaray is a tough side at home.

No Flanagan? Would have brought him over Baines for this friendly if it was me calling the shots.

Chelsea fans must be delighted, too. They've got a very good chance of running the table on that group.

My FM Spurs season is going nothing like Spurs' current season. One point in 3 PL matches, 0-0 draw to Palace, 4-1 loss to City, 1-0 loss to Swansea. After signing Dier, Davies, Depay, and Kono.
But I beat Eijsberg 7-0 on aggregate with a weakened squad.
I really suck at this game.

Hockaday has been fired. Not really surprising, but questions have to be answered as to why he was hired in the first place.

I was horrendous at it for the longest time too. The high pressure game works only if you can orchestrate it well apparently, and a disorganized press equals 0-4 against Forest in the League Cup.

I miraculously won 5-3 on penalties After a 2-2 draw against Burnley I'm the league cup.
Then Rose red carded after 6 minutes against Cardiff, then 1-1 Lamela red carded and it became a horrifying 3-1 loss.
I resigned after 6 PL matches, earning only one point.
Losing 1-0 after signing with a conference south side a month later.

Try Wolves if nothing works out. They've got Championship money for a League One side.

It is a hard game to get into though. I almost quit after getting relegated with QPR.

He's got a knee injury. Which, if Moreno and Johnson are both injured, is going to make this Sunday fun because I don't think Enrique is ready to play.

I rage quit that game being down 3-0.
Come back to the game, same everything, win 2-0.
I'll give Wolves a try. Weren't they a PL side like 3 years ago? Way to tumble.
