What the fuck is Everton doing with their possession?

Going forward they've been doing well but at the back it's horrendous. Great game though if a but nervy due to fantasy league players playing.

Siggy, 9 points.
And I choose Silva (2 points *2) as my captain, Bony as vice.
My forwards are useless.
Fuck this, I'm going with a back for the fantasy. Replacing Cameron with Janmaat, seems like a good move.

That was some game between Everton and Chelsea! ;)

Anyway, Spurs and Liverpool tomorrow. Predictions?

Score draw, but would like a Liverpool win.

Used my wildcard already. Brought in 8 new players. Ivanovic(7), Fabregas(4), Ki-Sung Yueng(2), Jovetic(4) as captain, Dummett didn't play, Dier plays tomorrow and I didn't start Larsson or Wisdom(stronger bench than I had). Weimann will go in for Dummett when the final points are added so hopefully he'll do something. Szczesny, Ramsey, Sterling(VC) and Sturridge also play tomorrow.
Season is already looking like a write off for the classic leagues I'm in. Head to head leagues well I was 14th in January last season and went on a 14 game winning run. Ended up 3rd and won the play-off final.

Ozil better score heavily tomorrow, or I will be so annoyed about not captaining Siggy. I made 6 transfers for this gameweek, but didn't use a wildcard, so -16 points for me.

As for Spurs-Liverpool, it'll be too close to call. 2-2?

Bony and Lukaku aren't doing anything for me, Weimann is the only forward worth keeping at this rate.
I'd also like to trade Barry for someone more attacking. I'd choose Lamela but I'm maxed out on Spurs players.
City was a dissapointment today though. 6 points betwen the thre players, Kolarov, Kompany, and Silva.
Still thinking IRl my team would be petty boss. Kolarov and Azpi are arguably the best two fullbacks in the PL. Of course I picked mostly AMs and wingers and not CMs and DMs but it could still be made into a 4-2-2-2 or 4-2-3-1 easily.
Just wish I wasn't limited to 3 players a team though, would have liked to bring in Aguero/Jovetic and Lamela.

If you've only got 5.5m to spend, he's probably your best option though. He'll play almost every game probably.

I meant of my forwards.
He's got 7 points or so for me. Bony and Lukaku combined have the same amount.
Even when I played a 3-4-3 the past two weeks, my defenders earn more points than my attackers.
Ï'll probably end up keeping them though, in hope their form improves. It is only week 3 of 38 after all.

Thats the story with most average to mid-high priced players(Coutinho is a prime example). On paper you can have a strong team and they may even play well in the actual. However goals/assist/clean sheets are what matter and if they dont get them as regularly as they should then you need to look for someone who will get you points.

Who are your three Spurs players? Eriksen wasn't doing it for me so I went with Lamela, and that's been wonderful so far. The strikers aren't really made for fantasy PL, so Lamela's your biggest point-getter in the Spurs midfield.

M: Silva, Hendo, Siggy, Barry, Eriksen
F: Lukaku, Bony, Weimann

Lamela is the definite swap for Eriksen I'd say. The attack runs through Christian, but it's executed by Lamela.

I got that. I just don't get why you have him at all, unless you literally only had 5.5m to spend. I mean, if Weimann gets ten goals and assists combined this season I'll be surprised, tbh. *shrug* It's almost certain Bony and Lukaku will reach double figures for goals though, I reckon. No need to panic just yet, I think. But looking at your team, you've drastically overspent on defensive players, IMO.

The in depth problem is not that big. They don't have to play lots of matches this season. EPL and some domestic cups.

True, but injuries happen so having decent players beyond the first XI is still important.

I get the point. What I'm saying is that even with spending the extra bit on money you need to be careful. You need to buy good fantasy league players over players who although play very well dont score or assist as much as they should. Still early in the season yet. I had Aspas starting the first game last year and he got me 7 and then 5 the following week. Ended up being the only thing he did all year.

Celtic dropping points with a 1-1 draw with Dundee. I know it's early but I'm seriously hoping that we can get a new champion this season. It would be an interesting change.

In other news, Liverpool one up at Spurs whilst Villa are beating Hull 2-0.

Spurs 0-3 Liverpool(Sterling, Gerrard & Moreno), Villa(Agbonlahor & Weimann) 2-1 Hull(Jelavic)

Could have been a lot worse for spurs. 12-0 over the last 3 games(14 goals without reply). A couple of decisions went against them, some great tackles and saves kept them out. The biggest news though, super Mario played well and kept his head after Dier flattened him. Hopefully he keeps it up.
