Bullshit. Norway is the most right-wing country on earth.

Norway has a comprehensive free public healthcare system with a private option.

Oh bullshit.

No, he's right. The best thing for the economy is to allow frivolous death from easily preventable disease. Universal Health Care would have dealt with that too effectively, and thus would have tanked the economy.

You ever watched a bad movie that is so bad, that it's enlightening? Like, you start asking yourself, "why did I watched this movie. What is the meaning of life after I watched this movie."

That's how I feel about this.

Ok. So? I don't care if it's right-wing or left-wing or ass-wing. I only care if it works. And statistically, it works.

A hallmark of bad satire is being unable to stick to the act.

Satire? On what? You might be being sarcastic, but I don't think anyone on this thread had any idea you weren't serious.

Since it's not been mentioned, it almost happened again in '71, but Ted Kennedy roadblocked it because he hated Nixon.

He blocked it because he thought he could get a better deal if he waited for a Democratic president, a decision I imagine he came to regret.

It's literally impossible for anyone to say that the US health care system is superior to most other developed nations.

If a significant amount of people cannot access it because of their socioeconomic class, then it is not superior.

The vast majority of people in countries with single payer would not want our system in a million years.

Until the day he died, he said it was the decision he most regretted in his political career.
