Why can't there be a mix?

In Farhamia's case, I posted him link to some official study about dying people care in British hospitals, and he answered literally few minutes after, that it can't be applied in this topic.
Even when is obvious that he simply COULDN'T read it.
What I said, 12 minutes later, was "What you provide is disturbing but as I replied to the other person above, I don't see how it invalidates the entire NHS system. The RCP study has to do with terminal patients, not everyone, thought the other article does speak of one 22-year-old."

it would also be important to show if the US is any better.
I mean we had hospitals literally dumping poor patients on the street and some bed-ridden patients getting eaten alive by ants in their beds.

I'm sure we did. The exchange came about from a remark by Ifreann, something like, "If only there had been a universal health care system the US could have looked at to see if it caused economic collapse" (or something like that). I'm not sure who brought up the British NHS first but Socialist Czechia declared it to be awful and I challenged him for sources. So the question isn't really "whose health care system sucks worse?" it's whether the NHS has done actual harm to Great Britain and whether it's as bad as SC makes it out to be.

If only there were other countries with universal healthcare that you could look at to determine whether such a program would, in fact, bring about economic doom.

"Those who reached my boundary, their seed is not; their hearts and their souls are finished forever and ever. As for those who had assembled before them on the sea, the full flame was their front before the harbour mouths, and a wall of metal upon the shore surrounded them. They were dragged, overturned, and laid low upon the beach; slain and made heaps from stern to bow of their galleys, while all their things were cast upon the water." - Ramesses III., Battle of the Delta
