Y'know, back in the 18th century, we didn't have school shootings, global warming, terrorism and widespread obesity - Those Victorians must have been doing something right.

http://www.mccl.org/us-abortion-statistics.html
https://bound4life.com/statistics/

I would be skeptical of this very pro life

on average the daily abortion rate is about 3,500 to 3700 babies a day ( +/- ) so times that by 365 then times that 41

3,500 X 365 = 1,277,500 X 41 = 52,377,500 ( im not including leap years )

Im not pro life I am pro choice and the numbers would vary greatly based of very rough stats

We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Yearly, approximately 1.1-1.3 million foetuses/children are aborted. The rates before Roe v. Wade were similar and the difference in legality is negligible.

So, since 1973, approximately 45-52 million foetuses/children have been aborted.

I don't give a shit. That has nothing to do with the fact they aren't babies. Call them what they actually are: fetuses.

If there were 78 million openings in the workforce, unemployment wouldn't be so high and job openings wouldn't be so low.
And abortion? Really? You act like there are enough abortions annually to make a difference.

The real problem is under-qualification and automation.
Usually, under-qualified individuals would work mundane or more dangerous jobs.
But due to automation in industries such as fast food, construction, and assembly, those individuals can not find work.

The biggest and best industry to get into right now is IT.
More openings.

Companies are doing better than ever while the lower class falls further and further away from the middle.
The middle class is crumbling because they aren't a target for businesses. Either you're poor or you're the 1%.

If we had socialized education, more people would have more opportunities to learn and get a higher education.
I'm a cis-het male. Ask me about my privilege.

Getting a 4-year degree in computer sciences can get you pretty far in America.
Working on a small IT team for a local company or office building pays decently.

Maybe but the really good jobs used to be with the large corporations and all those have been shipped overseas. Half my team is half a world away and I don't see that changing. Why should a company pay for you when they can get four guys named Krishna for 25¢ on the dollar?

But we digress. Outsourcing is not the topic.

No, I didn't. I think the idea that legalized abortion has had a direct, measurable negative effect on the economy is absurd and falls into the category of grasping at straws. If anything, all those supposed 78 million people would have been affected by the housing bubble's bursting in 2008 and their presence in the country would have made things worse, not better.

Right, and there is obviously a dangerous number of unfilled jobs and too few people to f-wait a second.
